Black Bear Bistro
Black Bear Bistro opened in November 2018 with a menu full of exciting options. Chef Santiago Suarez brings nearly 30 years of culinary experience to the Algonquin area. He’s particularly proud of featuring locally sourced ingredients and wild game in his dishes. Chef Suarez also shares that the black bear, who survives on only the most natural of foods, is his biggest inspiration. So, if you’re ready for something new, check out the bistro’s wild game burger, made from ostrich and bison meat. While you’re at it, don’t forget the rainbow trout with blue crab, black garlic, and mushroom risotto!
MOD Pizza also opened to great fanfare in November 2018 in Algonquin. This trendy restaurant serves artisan-style pizzas and has locations all over the United States and the United Kingdom. MOD Pizza is based on the fast-casual concept, with pizzas made on demand and ready in scant minutes.
