On September 16 and 17, the Cary Main Street Fest comes to Cary’s historic downtown.
It’s the fastest growing outdoor fall festival in the northwest suburbs, and it features interactive displays, area artists, local restaurants, craft beers, and the Rotary Club of Cary-Grove Saturday Night Steak Fry.
The festivities also offer a 5K race and entertainment on the main stage. Here’s a closer look:
Cary Shuffle 5K – Lace up your running shoes to race through the challenging course that winds through the city. It starts at 9:00 a.m. and registration includes weekend entry to the festival.
Libido Funk Circus – Libido Funk Circus is Chicago’s premier dance party band and they have entertained audiences of all ages since 1996. They perform Motown hits, music from today, and disco tunes that get everyone on their feet.
Blue Sky Blind – Blue Sky Blind is a rock cover band that plays songs from the 1950s through the 1990s, as well as today’s contemporary hits. The group has several musical influences including Journey and is led by Jenna Deluca and Derick Muncy.
3 AM – This band is made up of five musicians who perform songs with emotional intensity and heartfelt soul. They entertain around the state and their set list includes songs from groups such as Matchbox 20, Train, and the Goo Goo Dolls.
