R Family Farm
The staff at R Family Farm is fully committed to providing customers with the best locally grown meat. All machinery they use is antique, and the animals roam the pasture just as nature intended. The meat never contains antibiotics, hormones, or steroids, and products include spare ribs, pork chops, and ground turkey.
Run by the Ahren family’s third and fourth generations, Twin Gardens takes pride in being on the cutting edge. The family was one of the first sweet corn growers to grow SH2 sweet corn, and their current hybrid TGI Mairai was developed on site with a sweet corn breeder. The ears average between seven and eight inches long and are available from the third week in July to the third week in September.
Apple Holler is a seventy-acre orchard that grows sugar snap peas, peaches, pears, pumpkins, and more than thirty varieties of apples. The friendly staff also offers delicious pastries, pies, and cider donuts.
Soap of the Earth
Soap of the Earth is a farm-based business that never uses synthetic dyes, preservatives, fragrances, or filler ingredients. The products are hand-stirred in small batches and include clay facial bars, olive oil & lemon hand soap, and lavender shower gel.
