Short for Barrington Area Animal Rescue & Kennels, BAARK works to rescue, care for, and place abandoned and abused animals. They tirelessly focus on helping the most vulnerable of our furry friends. You can support them by donating funds through their website, either as a one-time gift or scheduled giving.
Cary Grove Food Pantry
Just 15 minutes from our Algonquin apartments, the Cary Grove Food Pantry operates with the help of dozens of volunteers and contributing businesses to feed the hungry. They are accepting monetary contributions to keep their food stocked. You can also drop off groceries contact-free at their donation center.
Lazarus House, located just south of our apartments in Algonquin, Illinois, helped provide over 20,000 nights of shelter in 2019 alone. They provide valuable transitional services, including both food aid and bill assistance. Consult the urgent needs section on their website to see which specific items to purchase for donation. Or simply donate funds to support their work.
